It’s always exciting when you get an idea for a shoot, start planning and preparing, booking your amazing model and make-up artist who, for this shoot, came as a complete package in the shape of the wonderful Miss Hayley Bird. Sending each other messages via social media with ideas, colours and themes all in readiness for the day it all comes together.
Well this all happened last October when I shot an Android-themed session with Hayley. We had a great time collaborating and making some wonderful images. It was a personal shoot for me as I don’t get the opportunity very often to shoot just for me, but it’s great when I do as it gets the creative juices flowing and leads to more and more ideas for, not only myself, but to put into my clients sessions too.
I thought the images came out great and decided to send a few to Photoshoot Magazine to see if they would be interested in a “Behind the Scenes” feature. And guess what? They were! After myself and Hayley sent them more images from in front and behind the camera, setting up and some information of how we planned and executed the session, it is now out there for all to see! Here is the four page spread in all its glory and I couldn’t be more pleased and proud.
